My inspiration for this piece can be found in fairy tales, and childhood memories, and a suggestion from my fellow Artist in Residence, Helena, who recently said that she likes my clay animals the best and that they are funny and I should do more. She sent me a picture of a frog that she had spotted while on a walk, and this piece just naturally jumped into existence.
